The Why
My goal with this website is simple! Provide a quick resource with little five minute sinipts to build meaningful cloud architectures. After doing this work day in a day out, I find the easy way to do things and I want to share those secrets with you.
Profesional Experience
I’m a cloud architect with over 27 years of experience in the IT industry. I’ve led and managed complex cloud projects, migrated apps to the cloud, and optimized cloud infrastructure. Recently, I was the lead architect that helped move an extremely large datacenter to a new location while simultaneously moving apps to the cloud. I’m also a strong technical leader with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, like Google Cloud, Azure, AWS, and VMware. CI/CD and Devops has been fun to learn and help people implement.

Fly sailplanes I’ve been flying sailplanes for years and love freedom of flight and exploring the power of the atmosphere. It’s a great way to escape my day-to-day worries since not much fits inside the cockpit of a glider.

Travel I love exploring new places and learning about different cultures. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over the world, and I always come back with new stories and memories.

Spend time with my family My family is my everything, so I love spending time with them whenever I can. By the way, they are all pretty cool humans. Even our dog, Charlie, is an adventure seeker.
